topWhat is a Channel?

What does "online" mean?
Online means that you are currently using Rabble and you are receiving text message alerts when Rabble users send you messages. You can change your online status from the "Channel Home" screen by selecting "Settings/Help."
topWhat is a friend?
A "Friend" in Rabble is a user that either:
1)You invite to join your friends list by selecting "Invite As Friend" on their channel screen, or
2)A user who has selected you to be added to their friend's list.
When someone has invited you to join their Friends list, you will receive a message in the Message Center where you can either approve or deny the friend request. Certain settings including pic messaging and commenting can be restricted to "Friends Only."
How do I accept a Friend Request?
To accept a friend request, from the Channel Home screen select "Message Center." From here, select "Friend Requests." Select a message to open it. To approve the friend request, select "Accept." You will then be on each other's friends lists which can be found on the "Connections" screen.
topHow do I invite a friend to Rabble?

topHow do I grow my friends list with people on Rabble?

topWhat is a Fan?
A fan is someone who has subscribed to your channel. When you update your channel with new information, they will see that you have updates in their Connections area.
topWhat is the difference between a Fan and a Friend?
A Fan is a user that has subscribed to your channel. A Friend is a person that you have invited to be on your friends list, or vise versa. Subscriptions and Fans are one-way connections between users, while friends are mutual connections.
topHow do I know when my friends have posted new entries?
From your Channel Home screen, press the left directional arrow on your phone's navigation button to go to the Connections area. Select "Friends." From here, you can see if new material has been posted to your friends' channels.
topHow do I communicate directly with other Rabblers?
You can send a message, comment on a channel or comment on a specific blog post or event. To send a message to a user, from their channel or from their post, select "Send Message." To comment on a channel, select "Comment" to leave a comment for the user's channel. To comment on a specific post, select "Comment" when viewing the post.
topHow do I read my messages?
To access your messages, from the "Channel Home" screen select "Message Center." Select "Inbox" to see messages sent to you from other users on Rabble.
topHow do I know if I have new messages?
When you log into your Rabble channel, the number in parenthesis next to "Message Center" shows the number of new messages you have for your channel. You will also see an icon of an envelope to the left of your channel name if there are new messages awaiting you.
topWhat do the red numbers in parenthesis mean?
The red numbers represent new content. For example, if your "Message Center" has a 5 next to it, that means you have 5 new messages. If your friend on your friends list shows a 7 next to it, that means they have posted 7 new posts since you last viewed their channel.
